Soke has charisma, humour and
humanity that warms whoever meets
him. His enthusiasm for martial arts is
tireless, his skills and knowledge are
both daunting and inspiring.

During his career within the martial arts Soke has also become master of many other styles.
Two of his favourites are Aikido and Kickboxing, what an unusual choice - you may say, yes,
this gives you a hint as to the complex and unique individual we know as grandmaster.

Anyone reading this who has met him
knows that it is virtually impossible to
describe him in words. The best advice
is to attend one of his seminars and
meet the man in person. An experience
you will not forget.

He took parts of other martial arts, Judo, Aikido, Karate and Boxing and
put them together to form a modern style of Jiu Jitsu. In more than 40
years very little has had to change in this art, most changes that have
occurred are to improve the safety of the art to come up to modern
standards and expectations.

To list all of his accomplishments,
honors and awards would be
impossible, and yet to say that he has
made a difference in the martial arts
world, would be an understatement.

Soke Brian Dossett is a 10th dan in Jiu Jitsu, he is also one of the true
legends of the martial arts to have come out of the United Kingdom.
In 1958 he founded Spirit Combat International, which is a fighting style
that combines his over 40 years of experience in various martial arts.
